My background is in both marketing, I hold a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University - Mays Business School, and law, I am licensed to practice law and went to Texas A&M University School of Law. I consider myself a multipotentialite because I not only have a degree in marketing and a law license, but I was a competitive gymnast, a writer, an actress with an acting agent for 15 years, and more. A multipotentialite is someone who doesn't have one true calling like specialists do. We have the ability to be successful in multiple industries sometimes simultaneously.

Through my podcast I want to help you realize Your Potential for Everything and learn from my guests about how they have managed to lead lives in multiple careers and never had to settle for having one answer to the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

In this episode of Your Potential for Everything, Alex brings on Liseli Sitali, the Founder and Host of In Her Corner. Liseli talks with Alex about Sports Marketing, Sports Broadcasting & Allyship in Sports along with how she has paved the way for other women in sports to earn positions of power within the sports industry.

Liseli mainly works in the United Kingdom, but has experience in sport all over the world. She was born in Zambia and went to school in South Africa in the aftermath of apartheid. Her love for sport was a form of escapism for her because she finally saw women that looked like her being represented in sport. This was during the rise of the Williams sisters in the tennis world.

She decided that sports was her industry and she particularly got into the sports marketing world and representation of athletes. Her work in sports marketing led her to the world of sports broadcasting where she consistently fought for equity and opportunity for women in sports to be represented on major broadcasting platforms.

Through her work with In Her Corner, she also teaches and educates on allyship and how others can uplift and support women and minorities in the sports industry. She has been through the trenches and has earned each of her achievements and has the receipts to prove it. It is not about giving something more to women and minorities, it is about allowing them to have the same opportunities and access that others are afforded in the sports industry
