My background is in both marketing, I hold a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University - Mays Business School, and law, I am licensed to practice law and went to Texas A&M University School of Law. I consider myself a multipotentialite because I not only have a degree in marketing and a law license, but I was a competitive gymnast, a writer, an actress with an acting agent for 15 years, and more. A multipotentialite is someone who doesn't have one true calling like specialists do. We have the ability to be successful in multiple industries sometimes simultaneously.

In this episode of Your Potential for Everything, host Alex brings on Sandy Zinn is the CEO of Zinn Sports Group, LLC, which he formed in February 2020 after 15 years at Major League Baseball and 10 years with ESPN. He most recently had 200 employees across North America and ran a $1 million+ budget. Sandy talks with Alex about working at ESPN, building your own business in sports, and how to successfully work from home in the sports industry.
For him, it is all about balance and making sure you don’t get sucked too deeply into either work problems or family problems at any one time. When he is working then he is all in, but remembers to take breaks and go all into non-work relate responsibilities like taking his dog on a walk.
