My background is in both marketing, I hold a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University - Mays Business School, and law, I am licensed to practice law and went to Texas A&M University School of Law. I consider myself a multipotentialite because I not only have a degree in marketing and a law license, but I was a competitive gymnast, a writer, an actress with an acting agent for 15 years, and more. A multipotentialite is someone who doesn't have one true calling like specialists do. We have the ability to be successful in multiple industries sometimes simultaneously.

Through my podcast I want to help you realize Your Potential for Everything and learn from my guests about how they have managed to lead lives in multiple careers and never had to settle for having one answer to the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

In this episode of Your Potential for Everything, host Alex brings on Anthony Kung a rocket scientist turned professional actor. Anthony talks to Alex about losing everything and changing careers for a better life.

Anthony was born and raised in Hong Kong and received his education from a Chinese primary school, a British secondary school, then at the University of Southern California where he received a bachelor of science in Aerospace Engineering. He worked in the IT industry for 15 years in Europe, Asia, and the U.S. before getting laid off after a corporate merger. He knew he needed to change careers.

His decision in 2010 to change careers turned his life 180° and today he is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and is based in Los Angeles, California. He is an actor, writer, author, and director whose work can be seen on HBO's "The Leftovers", FX's "You're The Worst", and "Paper Tiger”.

His book, entitled Stop Calling Me Jackie!, is a reflection of his own drastic life transformation and career change and it gives readers a guideline on how to recreate and redefine their own lives, which may have been impacted by unemployment, or influenced by a desire for a career change.
