My background is in both marketing, I hold a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University - Mays Business School, and law, I am licensed to practice law and went to Texas A&M University School of Law. I consider myself a multipotentialite because I not only have a degree in marketing and a law license, but I was a competitive gymnast, a writer, an actress with an acting agent for 15 years, and more. A multipotentialite is someone who doesn't have one true calling like specialists do. We have the ability to be successful in multiple industries sometimes simultaneously.

Through my podcast I want to help you realize Your Potential for Everything and learn from my guests about how they have managed to lead lives in multiple careers and never had to settle for having one answer to the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

In this episode of Your Potential for Everything, host Alex brings on Dr. Denise Vidot, a Cannabis Epidemiologist and founder of CanaVee. Dr. Vidot talks about her health journey and what led her to researching Cannabis at the University of Miami and establishing an international research lab centered around researching Cannabis.

There are many misconceptions in the world of Cannabis and Dr. Vidot works to educate people through her research and help patients navigate the world of medicinal Cannabis use. We also discuss why Dr. Vidot decided to eat a plant based diet and the positive effects she has seen in her own life.

She also shares the positive effects the sun and nature as a whole can have on your health and wellness. Too often Dr. Vidot was faced with people telling her that Cannabis research was a waste of time, but she persevered and now runs an international lab that helps people of all stages of health and wellness use Cannabis to live healthier lives. She works with former professional athletes, HIV patients, and others with chronic and acute conditions to live a healthier life with the help of Cannabis.

Not all Cannabis is created equally and she discusses the human body’s natural endogenous cannabinoid system that helps to establish and maintain human health.
