My background is in both marketing, I hold a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University - Mays Business School, and law, I am licensed to practice law and went to Texas A&M University School of Law. I consider myself a multipotentialite because I not only have a degree in marketing and a law license, but I was a competitive gymnast, a writer, an actress with an acting agent for 15 years, and more. A multipotentialite is someone who doesn't have one true calling like specialists do. We have the ability to be successful in multiple industries sometimes simultaneously.

In this episode of Your Potential for Everything, host Alex brings on Dr. Giselle Aerni is a sports medicine doctor & entrepreneur. Dr. Aerni has worked with professional athletes, high-school athletes, collegiate athletes, and everything in between. She discusses the importance of mental and physical health of athletes.

Too often athletes are not given the proper tools to take care of their mental health which causes harm during and after their athletic careers. It takes a village to provide mental and physical healthcare to athletes and Dr. Aerni talks about her team both on and off the court. This conversation also covers the specific needs of female athletes and how to help them succeed while taking into consideration their unique needs like maternity care.
